25 weeks

Jude wanted me to hold him. Maybe I'll try to get a better belly picture later.

Lake Merwin

We went on a little day trip with my young women to Lake Merwin. We had a lot of fun. It was cloudy at first but got sunny for us later in the day. We watched from the beach as girl after girl got flung from the tube. Totally awesome.

The boys going for a boat ride.

We went for a little spin on the "toot", as Carter calls it. Carter loved it but Jude said, "I want to go back in the boat." So Jude hung out with Megan on the boat while Carter and I stayed out on the tube. He was in heaven until we got wet. Then he wanted to go back on the boat, too.

If you look closely, you can see Carter waving, too. How cute!

He loved the boat.

Jude just wanted to push the buttons. He found the horn and radio first thing.

Carter kept looking for fish in the "deepy" water.

the bedtime battle continues...

We thought they were sleeping....

Why do we let them share a room??

I'm still baffled at how they dug these markers out of the stacked boxes in the closet.

The pictures don't even do it justice. I've never seen so much marker on two little boys ever before.
I hope I never do again.

I couldn't help but laugh when I walked in and saw this scene. So I sent them out to show their daddy who also couldn't keep from laughing. And now they think they're funny. oops.

So....

...this is what I found when I got out of the shower. Yikes. He dumped the rest of the can of 'instant breakfast' into that cup and then just went crazy. "Mommy, I'm eating chocolate!"

He must've made that huge mess in my kitchen too because we all know that my kitchen is always sparkling clean.

On a lighter note...
check out how cute this dashing young fellow is

Projects for the baby girl

It's exciting to be having a girl because it means I can make all sorts of girl things! It was fun to make boy things for Carter and then when Jude came along, we already had so much stuff that I had to really dig to find fun things to make for him. So here's a couple projects I've finished recently for the baby girl!

I guess Carter wasn't very excited about being my model for the new carrier.

I'm in love with this blanket. I love the fabric and the inside brown part is so soft and cozy. And the hood and tie strap are just so cute. I'm excited to wrap her up in it.
