4 teeth!!

I have 4 TEETH now!!!!

This is how Carter sleeps all the time. If you look closely, you can see the drool spot by his mouth. He reminds me of a stink bug with his butt up in the air.
This picture is even funnier if you're a "King of the Hill" fan. It reminds me of the episode when Hank Hill's tiny bum causes him back pain so he has to wear padded underwear. It shows a shot of his tiny bum and it looks just like this.

I'm not exactly sure what was making him laugh so hard... maybe the peas??

8 months old

This is Carter when he was less than a week old.....
And here he is now! 8 months older! Doesn't he look monstrous? I can't believe how much he's grown and changed in such a short time. But he's still cute as ever!

Valentine's Day

For breakfast we had heart-shaped pancakes with raspberry jam.
Lunch was grilled cheese with heart-shaped ketchup.
And of course, a heart-shaped pizza for dinner.

He's so cute

Here's Carter standing up to grab the remote control, with the hiccups. He can also walk along the couch, or anything else he's standing against, but every time I try to record it, he stops and smiles at me......


Dennison was hiding from him... They're so cute together!!

Our trip to Utah

Dennison had to go up to Seattle for some training last weekend so Carter and I took a quick trip to Utah. We weren't there for long so we mostly hung out with Grandma and Grandpa. It was very sad leaving Dennison but we managed to have some fun: Here's Carter with his Uncle Steve and Auntie Krista

Carter's favorite part of Grandma and Grandpa's house was the shelf full of kids books. He loved pulling them all onto the ground and then tasting them, one by one.
Carter got a new shirt from Ryan and Beccy's store, Mode boutique in Provo.
We got to see my dear friend Sylvia and her darling new baby(one track mind), and Jake.
Carter got to see his friend Tao and I got to eat at cafe rio.
We saw pregnant Annie... isn't she cute?!
And Carter played with Theo... Jake and Sylvia's dog. What a fun trip, but we're glad to be home.

favorite snack

He loves eating crackers. As you can see, he takes his pacifier out to eat but holds onto it for future use. He even crawls over to his high chair when I'm not looking and eats crackers off the floor..... yuck.

gettin ready for church

Carter hates it when I put shirts on him. I think he doesn't like his arms being restricted, even for a few seconds. But once I get the shirt on, he's fine.
Then he likes to crawl over to the couch and stand up....
And then crawl to the mirror and give himself kisses. He pulls himself up on everything! His favorite is the bath tub though. He stands there for a minute and then looks at his feet and concentrates real hard and then lets go! He tries to stand all by himself! That's the only place he does it like that. Maybe he likes the splash landing....

10 Years Ago: I was 14 years old and I had just moved to Provo, UT. I hated it! New school, no friends, I looked and felt very awkward. 8th grade was definitely the worst year of my life. Luckily, I have blocked most of it out of my memory:)

On My To-Do List: Finish my wedding scrapbook, finish the quilt for Carter that I started when I was still pregnant with him

5 places that I've lived: McCall, Provo, Spanish Fork, Pleasant Grove, Vancouver

5 jobs I have had: Tanning Salon (Perfect Tan!), Von Curtis Salon, Brent Brown Toyota, ASAP Appraisals, and of course MOM!

What I would do if I became a billionaire: Well, I would probably donate at least 10% to a very good cause..... church. I would help fund missions for worthy young men, I would buy a wonderfully cool house for my Dennisons and me, get my husband a gps (cause he wants one really bad), and we would take a lot of cool vacations. I'm sure we would find a lot of great things to do with our fortune, after all, we love helping people!

Bad habits: Me? I can't think of any....... ha ha, I wish. staying up too late, tickling Carter till he laughs so hard he cries

Things I enjoy: Playing with Carter, watching him learn new things, RaD(Robin and Dennison) time after Carter's asleep, cookies

Things people don't know about me: I watch Hannah Montana on the Disney channel, and love it.
