Carter

Carter mostly doesn't take naps anymore. Maybe once a week, he'll be tired enough to fall asleep during quiet time while Jude's napping. This is not the first time that he's fallen asleep while doing something else. That's a banana in his hand, with only one or two bites gone. He was really tired.

Then later that day, I was talking to him and kept seeing something blue in his hair behind his ear. I thought I was just seeing things but upon closer inspection, he had stashed his dolphin toy on top of his ear.

He makes me laugh all the time.

a sneak peak at the new casa

So our house is slowly coming together. It's usually a mess these days, so I haven't taken pictures. It's amazing what you just cannot accomplish in a day when you're 8.5 months pregnant. Someday, my house will be clean and put together enough to take pictures to share. That day, however, is not today.
But in the meantime, this room is quite clean. Because the boys never go in it. I just finished making this bedding and wall decor for baby girl Harris so I snapped a few pictures to show off. We painted the walls, the trim and closet doors, the crib, and the dresser. I think it turned out super cute and I can't wait to show our daughter her room!

Have I gone a little crazy for all things pink and girly since finding out we're having a girl? Perhaps.
Am I ashamed?
Not at all.

Robin's little birds

These boys are so silly! One night Jude's blanket was kind of in a nest shape and he kept wanting me to "come sit in this hole with me." So I made it into a better "nest" and we sat in it together. Then Carter had to have one. Then they had to have nests on their beds to sleep in. Then in the morning they had to bring their nests out to the living room and drink some milk in them. Then they wanted them on the couch to watch cartoons. And so it continued until we moved (new house pictures to come, once it's a little more presentable). I think their new beds have made them forget about their nests.
