"Hot baby"

Disney and Pixar have a short film called "Jack Jack Attack" at the end of The Incredibles. We were watching it the other night and Carter thought it was the funniest thing ever. Whenever Jack Jack would burst into flames, Carter would laugh and laugh. He calls him "HOT BABY". I'm a little uncomfortable with him finding such humor in seeing a baby on fire....

Dennison couldn't be more proud. literally.

Thanks to Nate and Corrine, Carter now is the proud owner of a t-ball set. It didn't take him long to learn what to do with it.... weird, I know. I have a couple better videos than this but he's not wearing pants in any of them, SO, you get to see this one. I think Barbara and all the Thundercat wives will be especially proud.

He's officially TWO!

Breakfast went something like this.....

Then lunch was like this.....

Then he got his birthday balloons

And Elmo hat

Elmo streamers and pizza for dinner
(the streamers weren't dinner, just decoration)

Birthday boy with his balloon tied around his waist

I had to blow out his candles for him. Maybe we should have practiced that beforehand....

Me and my 2-year-old

His new tricycle

And we finished off the day with bubbles.
Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us! Carter had a BLAST! He was up so late playing with all his new toys. Maybe he'll sleep in tomorrow. Ha ha, yeah right.

Happy Birthday!

*Carter loves eating cereal. Partly because it's delicious and partly because he can get it out of the cupboard and pour it in his bowl all by himself and partly because he's really good at eating it with his spoon. He knows he's only supposed to have it for breakfast, so he's always trying to sneak it when I'm not looking. He also gets excited when he finishes because then he can see the monkey in the bottom of his bowl.
*Carter is such a good big brother. He is always picking out toys and handing them to Jude to play with. He won't get out of the car unless we take Jude out first (maybe he's scared that we would forget about Jude?).
*Carter loves giving hugs now, and he's a really good hugger!
*Carter's vocabulary has really started coming together. He can say some really cute sentences now.
*Carter only wants to go potty on the "big potty". His little training potty is now used for a stool all over the house - mostly to turn on lights and climb onto the counter.
*Carter loves to help us with whatever we're doing. His favorite is helping to unload the dishwasher.
*Carter loves talking to his "Mama" (grandma) on skype. Everytime he sees the computer he tells me, "mama! mama!"
*Carter will eat anything as long as he can dip it in something.
*Carter kneels down by his bed and folds his arms every night for prayer.
I could go on and on so I'll just say that he's awesome. He's such a fun little guy and he thinks he's the boss and I guess he kind of is. I can't believe I have a two-year-old, but I also can't believe he's only been with us for two years. It's hard to remember life without him.

I love you Carter, Happy Birthday!

Jude = Carter Jr.

Carter - 14 months

Jude - 7 months
Carter used to assume this position on purpose to try to get out of taking a nap. Jude must have slipped the other day because he was pretty upset when we found him like this.

Carter - 8 months

Jude - 7 months
I'm starting to think that it can't just be my boys that sleep like stinkbugs... unless it's genetic??

Carter - 9 months

Jude - 7 months
And they of course both love the fridge.
