Is it just me....
having solicitors constantly ignore the "NO SOLICITING" sign?? Honestly! So here I was, folding the laundry and enjoying what little time of peace and quiet I could while the boys napped and I hear a knock on the door. Earlier today a friend had stopped by to say hello so I wasn't nervous about answering the knock. I open the door to find two strangers with a fist full of fliers. He asks me if my parents are home... I chuckle and tell him that I am a parent (I guess I look like a teenager without a shower and make-up). He then hands me a flier and proceeds with his little presentation about how he'll clean a part of my carpet for free. I tell him I'm not interested and he says, "of course you're not, otherwise you would've called us already." He tries again to get me to let him in to clean a small portion of my hallway. I'm thinking.... why would I let two strange slightly sketchy looking men into my house while I'm home alone with a couple of sleeping babies. Not gonna happen. So I tell him no thank you and he snatches the flier out of my hand, tells me to have a nice day (although it didn't sound the slightest bit sincere) and storms off in a huff. I close the door and decide to put a NO SOLICITING sign up so I don't have to deal with these rude and pushy people anymore. I print off a sign and head to the front door to post it, only to find that there's already one right by the doorbell!!!! All this time, all those lame-os have been knocking on my door and completely ignoring the sign. How RUDE. So I put up my newly printed sign right at prime knocking level. Now there's no excuse. I will simply point to the sign and close the door.

I just realized that I'm never in any pictures because I always have the camera. So here's some self portraits with the boys. ha ha
Carter has to sleep with all of these stuffed animals. After a nap or in the morning he brings all of them out of his room and then when it's time to go back to bed, he takes them all back to his bed. He tries to carry them all at the same time and it reminds me of Gus-gus on Cinderella with the chicken food.
Rugby
Dennison has started playing Rugby again with a team here. He had a game in Seattle last weekend so we made the trip up there. We got to see his Dad and sister also. It was a fun quick trip. It was hard to get a good picture of him in action while Carter was running around crazy and Jude was trying to sleep in the sling. But this one is okay, he's the one on top of the pile, in gray, pushing one of his teammates, or something. He's told me most of the rules but I'm still confused.
Here's a battle wound.
Here's the boys being silly in the hotel room.

the funny things he does
First of all, here's a cute one of Jude
Carter will eat anything if he can use a fork or spoon or if there's something to dip it in.
He also likes to be as close to Jude as possible. If that means laying on top of him, so be it!
He also really likes bread dough...?? He will not leave me alone when I'm making bread! He is constantly asking for a piece of the dough to eat. I found these little finger caves in 3 of the loaves that were rising on the counter.
He curled up right next to Jude to continue one of his naps.
And this is just a cute picture. It's kinda hard to see with the magnets in the background but I put a little gel in his hair (it was a special occasion- lunch with Lindsay!) and it was just the cutest thing.
