Vienna's 1 year check-up
Well, our tiny little girl is still below that charts for weight. She's 17 lbs 2.9 ozs. She is closer to the curve than last time but still below it. The pediatrician ordered some blood work just to make sure she's not iron deficient or gluten intolerant. So we'll see. Her height is 31.25 inches and that's the 93rd percentile. She might've been a little generous in her measuring... But anyhow, she's doing well. It was a very hard morning for her. She got three immunizations plus had her blood drawn. It was awful! You'd think it would be a little easier for me to handle after all I've seen Carter go through but I still walked out of the clinic crying today. Have you ever had to have your baby's blood drawn? I guess I've never thought about it but they do it in the arm just like anyone else except it takes longer because they have to use little syringes instead of using the vacuum. Maybe it just seemed that it took so long because she was crying so hard she could hardly breath. It was not fun. Not fun at all. But after a nap, she's back to her happy self. Poor little thing. Oh, and she's getting three new teeth right now. Good thing we're well stocked in the baby tylenol department.

She is such a little angel, no matter how big she is! Being a mom is tougher than I ever expected, seeing your kids hurt is worse than hurting yourself. Remember that we love you!!!
Poor little Vienna and poor Robin! I HATE seeing Van hurting. I'm sure she's totally fine, look at her skinny parents! She's just going to be tall, thin, and gorgeous just like her mommy;)
Poor little lady! She sure is cute though, and wait a second? Do I recognize that fleece jacket? I think so... I was looking back at my blog and Brooke was 16lbs. 13.8oz. at her year appointment. So she was nice and shrimpy too. I guess I should say "dainty" that sounds more ladylike.
