Our next stop was Nuremberg. Dennison's dad was stationed here when Dennison was young and his little brother was born here. They were all excited to come back and visit. It was a very cool city!
In the center square of town there was quite a few musical groups playing for money. Several of them were made up of kids! It was fun to watch them.
We ate some pretzels and a lot of bratwurst. We all split up for a couple hours and all three groups ended up eating at the same bratwurst stand at different times! Related much?
This was the most ornate fountain I've ever seen. It was so beautiful.
There were bands playing on this big stage in the center of the square. It was a very fun environment.
We wore them out!
So we wanted to go see Soldier's field, which is a huge stadium where Hitler used to have rallies and such. The lady giving us directions told us the way here instead. It's an unfinished stadium that Hitler was building. Still kinda cool to see but not what we wanted. Bummer.
The inside
The military base where they used to live is no longer there. All that's left is this sign. We drove around where it used to be though and Dennison had fun reminiscing :)
